NYU retained Graf & Lewent to handle a full renovation of a 2,500 square foot lab for the Chemistry Department. The project included the design of new phenolic laboratory casework, finishes, lighting and mechanical distribution systems. The project included a temperature-controlled environmental chamber for work on temperature-sensitive experiments. The project was funded by a National Science Foundation grant. Graf & Lewent assisted the NYU Chemistry Department with preparing design drawings and descriptive materials that were used to obtain the grant.
