Holdroom Upgrades

United Airlines, Newark Liberty International Airport, NJ

Graf & Lewent designed a comprehensive upgrade to United’s Terminal A passenger facilities at Newark Liberty International Airport. New terrazzo flooring throughout the waiting areas was complimented by metal mesh wainscots and column covers. All furniture was replaced with United’s new standard items, featuring cluster seating and laptop bars. Graf & Lewent identified new LED lamps to provide a major upgrade to the lighting quality in the space. The bath-rooms were completely redesigned, and increased capacity was provided in the Women’s restrooms.
